SmallRig 4183B Camera Cage for Sony FX30 & FX3

It secures to the camera using 1/4″-20 screws on both the bottom and side, which helps avoid twisting. Meanwhile, rubber padding ensures scratch protection.

The modular design includes a removable NATO rail, so you can quickly switch between a rigged build and using Sony’s native XLR handle. In addition, there’s an ergonomic hinge arm at the battery door that conforms to the camera’s shape to improve grip comfort.

To secure your cables, the cage comes with a dedicated HDMI cable clamp made from PC and fiber, keeping your connections stable. For expandability, you get a rich set of mounting options: multiple 1/4″-20 holes, ARRI-style 3/8″-16 holes, a cold shoe, strap slots, NATO rails, and even a QD port. Underneath, an integrated Arca-Swiss base allows direct mounting to compatible tripods or DJI gimbals.
