Rode VideoMic Pro Rycote VMPR
The Rode VideoMic Pro Rycote VMPR is the improved version of the by many acclaimed VideoMic Pro. Seemingly the biggest change is the addition of the & nbsp; innovative Rycote Lyre-based shock mount. This system provided maximum isolation from external physical factors that may cause unwanted rumble and vibrations in the microphone. This system is already used successfully by Rode in the VideoMic and Blimp.
In addition, the capsule has been upgraded & nbsp; and has now even less self-noise than before (14 dB instead of 20 dB). The capsule has also become much more sensitive thanks to the new windshield that provides even better protection against external factors.
The VideoMic Pro is specially designed for the high demands of modern professional industry. The quality is getting higher all the time, but the camera itself gets more compact. Hence, this shotgun microphone has been given a light and compact design, thanks to its durable ABS construction. Despite this size, the VideoMic is still a large frequency response of 40 Hz – 20 kHz.
The Rode VideoMic is a standard stereo minijack connector (outputting the mono signal to both left and right channels), and a hot-shoe adapter, so he can be placed on almost all cameras.
