Simply clip the mic to your person with the included clip, plug the mic into your device, and switch on the -10 dB pad if you or the talent happen to be a loud talker.
With its omnidirectional polar pattern, the Boya BY-M1 Pro is quite forgiving, picking up sound from all around the mic; even if you turn away from the capsule a little, you’ll still be heard clearly. A power pack with a built-in battery is included, as is a lapel clip, an LR44 battery, hook & loop faster, a foam windscreen, a 1/4″ adapter, and a case.
